Life often keeps us busy and intentional opportunities to ‘Prepare our Hearts’ together in the presence of God can be a rare treasure. The Day Away will start with a time of Visio Divina led by Melissa McKinney (M.Div. /Spiritual Director) and Amanda Lennon (MAEM) leading us through a prayer practice, an Art Encounter specifically focused on the season of Advent. We will then have time to spend alone before regathering for small group sharing, lunch fellowship and more time to wander the beautiful May Farm trails or to sit quietly with God in our inside quiet niche. The May Farm will be decorated for Christmas and will be a lovely setting in which to begin our Advent Season. All activities are optional so come and enjoy in the way that best fits your journey in this season with God.
